Patient Care Update Following LSI Closure

Dearest Patients, Friends, and Family, 

On Friday, March 1, 2019 Laser Spine Institute closed its doors and is no longer operational. Following this turn of events, Dr. Brown is currently unable to treat or diagnose patients and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and your family. Dr. Brown considers himself lucky to be blessed with loyal patients such as yourself and he is working diligently to establish a new practice so that he may resume providing care.

Should you need care now or you feel your needs are urgent or emergent, we recommend you make an appointment with your primary care physician, go to your nearest urgent care or local hospital, or call 9-1-1. If you have questions regarding your medical records or if you need physician/surgeon recommendations for the greater Tampa area please call the Spine Line at (877)712-6573.

Visiting Surgeon: FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital, Ghana

At the end of 2017, Dr. Brown was graciously invited to work as a visiting professor and spine surgeon at FOCOS (Foundation of Orthopedics and Complex Spine) with the world renowned Dr. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei of Hospital of Special Surgery. Dr. Boachie-Adjei founded FOCOS in 1998 and built the hospital grounds in 2012, it is the only orthopedic hospital in West Africa. This hospital is dedicated to the people of Africa and specializes in complex spine and joint replacement surgeries. It has been a true gift for Dr. Brown to work alongside an exceptionally dedicated group of doctors and staff that provide such an excellent level of care.
